ACT/SAT English Class

Ever since we launched our public welfare program, the ALTP (American Language Tutoring Program), we have been committed to promoting English education for English learners.
We are fully aware of the language barrier and challenges young immigrants have to overcome. Therefore we have decided to offer to help. We will use MS Teams to conduct the online English training. There are 3 sessions per week: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 3:30 - 4:30PM (Pacific Time). Any students who want to improve their English and get higher scores on ACT/SAT tests are welcome to paticipate. This English class is  free.

Victor Bian

Victor is a junior in high school with a fabulous academic record. He's one of the top students at his school and has received a number of academic awards, including AP scholar, Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent search Outstanding Achievement Award among others. He has received a perfect composite score of 36 on the ACT in his sophomore year and would love to share his experiences and skills with you.

Microsoft Teams, install and test before class.
We will send you a Teams invitation to join the class.
We do not provide any technical support for MS Teams issues.

Other things to keep in mind

1. Eat healthy but not too much before the class. Water is fine, don't eat during sessions;
2. Enter the classroom 10 minutes early to test and configure your Teams;

3. Change your nickname to "your name & grade" (e.g. Victor 11) for teaching purposes;
4. Take your class in a quiet room;
5. Mute your microphone if it's not your turn to talk, do not mute others' microphones;
6. Turn off cameras during the class, the whiteboard is on screen for most of the time;
7. Have your book ready;
8. We do not check or respond to email during class time;
9. Check Teams and this webpage frequently for updates and progress. We don't often send email.
