To be eligible for this scholarship, you will …
Required Materials
All students
> Current freshmen and first-time applicants
> Under-graduate students in their sophomore or following years
> Graduate school students and Ph.D candidates

- The application process will begin Jan 1. Applications wish to be considered may be submitted and received no later than 5:00 PM PST on March 31 for the current academic year. Applications with incomplete information and/or required materials will not be considered. Applications received after deadline will not be considered.
- Assessment will be processed and funds are awarded based on financial need and academic performance and are designed to be integrated into a student’s total financial aid package.
- Scholarship will be distributed by the end of May for the current academic year.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you will …
- Be a currently enrolled monastic in a college or graduate school of Buddhist Study, or
- Be a currently enrolled student in a Buddhist College, and
- Not to be graduated in or before June of the current year.
Required Materials
All students
- A completed application form
- A copy of current academic school enrollment document (an admission letter may be eligible for a freshman)
> Current freshmen and first-time applicants
- A copy of resume or CV (minimum 2,000 words required)
- A copy of paid tuition receipt
> Under-graduate students in their sophomore or following years
- A copy of transcripts from the past academic year
- A copy of paid tuition receipt
> Graduate school students and Ph.D candidates
- A reference letter from school principal or a professor
- A copy of resume or CV (minimum 2,000 words required)
- An essay on Buddhism (minimum 8,000 words required)
