Grade 4 Reading/Drama Club

During this unusual situation, if you will be in grade 4 in the 2021-2022 school year, like reading and acting, and want to read/act with peers, please send an email to us.
We will use MS Teams for this online Reading/Drama club. There are 5 sessions per week, Monday through Friday daily, 11:00 - 11:50AM PDT. This Reading/Drama club is free from June 21st to the end of the summer break.

Jeffrey Liu

Jeffrey is a middle schooler. He has been teaching students for one year on different subjects, including English and Math. He loves and enjoys teaching and wants to offer help to students during the summer break.

Materials required

We will pick a script to read and practice acting when there is a meet.

Students will take turns to read and play roles.

Schedule

Daily meet (Jun 21st - Aug 30th)
M-F daily 11:00 - 11:50AM (Pacific Daylight Savings Time)

Microsoft Teams, install and test before meet.

You will be added to the Teams class to participate in the Reading/Drama club during the summer break.
We do not provide any technical support for MS Teams issues.

Other things to keep in mind

1. Eat healthy but not too much before the class. Water is fine, don't eat during sessions;
2. Enter the classroom 10 minutes early to test and configure your Teams;

3. Change your nickname to "your name & grade" (e.g. Jeffrey 7) for teaching purposes;
4. Join your Reading/Drama club in a quiet room;
5. Mute your microphone if it's not your turn to talk, do not mute others' microphones;
6. Turn off cameras during the class, the book for the night is on screen for most of the time;
7. Have your book ready;
8. We do not check or respond to email during class time;
9. Check Teams and this webpage frequently for updates and progress. We don't often send email.

This Reading/Drama club is free until the end of the Summer semester (August 28th).
